These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PixPolish (the "Service"), a free, browser-based photo editor available at pixpolish.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
PixPolish lets you open, edit, and export images directly in your web browser. All image processing — including AI features such as background removal — runs locally on your device. We do not require an account, and the Service is provided free of charge.
You keep all rights to the images you edit. Because editing happens in your browser, your images are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any image you edit, and for the content you create with the Service. Do not use the Service to process content that is illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to: use it for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service beyond what its open-source license permits; or use it to create content that is harmful, harassing, or that violates the rights of others.
PixPolish is built on the open-source miniPaint editor by ViliusL, used under the MIT License. Our own branding, additional pages, and AI features are layered on top. The original miniPaint copyright and license are retained.
To keep the Service free, PixPolish may display advertising, which may be provided by third parties such as Google AdSense. Those providers may use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Always keep your own copy of important images.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixPolish and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or images, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
