Type a width or height, or tap a preset. Keep aspect ratio on to avoid stretching.
Download
Save the resized image as PNG, JPG or WebP โ all on your device.
What size should I use?
Social posts: square images are commonly 1080ร1080 px; most feeds display around 1080 px wide.
Web pages: match the space โ a full-width banner might be ~1920 px, a thumbnail ~300 px. Bigger than needed just slows the page. Then compress it to shrink the file further.
Don't upscale: enlarging a small image just stretches pixels. Start from the largest original you have. See our resize guide for details.
Frequently asked questions
Is this image resizer free?
Yes โ completely free, no sign-up, and no limit on the number of images.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Leave "Keep aspect ratio" checked โ changing the width updates the height automatically (and vice versa), so nothing is stretched.
Can I resize to an exact pixel size?
Yes. Type the exact width and height, or use a preset like 1080 or 1920 for the longest edge.
Does resizing reduce quality?
Scaling down stays crisp. Enlarging a small image can look soft, so scale down from the largest original when you can.
